Independent site
NYC Property Facts is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of the City of New York or any city agency.
The data
Property facts are compiled automatically from public datasets published on NYC Open Data and are provided as-is, as the city publishes them. They may be incomplete, out of date, or matched to the wrong tax lot when a source record carries the wrong BBL. Use of the underlying data is also subject to the NYC Open Data terms of use. Check anything important with the agency that issued the record.
Not advice
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, tax, real-estate or professional advice. The site is not a title search, a property inspection, or an official city record, and it should not be relied on as one.
No warranty
The site, the API and the MCP server are provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, availability and fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NYC Property Facts and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the site or its data.
Fair use of the API and MCP server
Automated access is welcome within the published rate limits (see API & MCP). Please cache responses, identify your client in the User-Agent header, and do not attempt to disrupt or overload the service. Access may be limited for clients that do not follow these rules.
